two clocks out of sync

morning’s 1st movement

hahaha! Oh, can I ever relate to this one, Lee! Fantastic understated way of suggesting nature’s clock and man’s timekeeping invention don’t necessarily keep the same “time.” Love also the word “movement” suggestive of a clock’s internal workings! Great! 5:11 a.m. here and you just gave me the first humongous belly laff of the day! Thanks!
I thought afterward that there’s at least three ways for “movement” to be taken when reading this one; I’m glad you took the one that gave you a laugh!
We have two loud-ticking clocks in the upper part of our house: one in the living room and one in a nearby bathroom. My recliner is about halfway between the two. Early in the morning they really get to hammering. I like clock noise, so it doesn’t bother me the way it would some.
Smiles to you, Ron!
Ah, now this one makes me wonder… I like a poem that does that!
Provokes thought this one – I like it.
