long absent neighbor

Yes! As a newly-minted cat lover, I love the understated imagery and sadness of this one. Very nice, Lee! Even a darned old typo (“porcelin”) doesn’t spoil it for me. *g*
Thank you, Ron, typo corrected [damned Missouri roots].
I remember you saying that, thanks to family members, ‘the cat habit’ has been sneaking up on you for a while; glad to have you aboard!
There are two very old yellow cats living next door; this post was about one of them. Our neighbor – the cat’s caregiver – is a bit of a mystery: she comes and goes with no discernible pattern, seldom brings in groceries, and ‘never,’ ever generates trash. Hmm. . . .
We’re the cat “soup kitchen” of our neighborhood and the old yellow ones know that we’ll feed and water them if no one else will.
I think you are going to get bored with my smiles… 🙂
Not at all! Thanks a bunch! I’ll get over your way in a bit!
yea man! you got it going on. late now, but be back to check out more. keep writing, keep living, keep giving it hell brother
[big smile] Thank you so much!
