HA! That’s great! I could see the possum shuffling off … but as a streetwalker? That added an extra surreal dimension to that shuffle! What topped it off, though, was the Robins staring West. Did they see the possum? Or was the possum going in one direction and they were staring in the opposite direction? Life is like that. It is a good image! Thanks. 🙂
This scene was absolutely true! We live in an urban setting, but that doesn’t mean them nasty ol’ ‘possums don’t go trucking down the street occasionally on their way home to the marsupial “brothel’ – or wherever. The robins were in fact staring west; I’ll leave it to the reader to decide if they were pro-streetwalking or not.
